The unit does not work
Check if the water level indicator is on; empty the drip tray by removing the rubber plug.
Check the room temperature; the operating temperature is 5–35°C.
If your AC is connected to the app, check for any error messages in the app that may help you identify the issue.
The unit operates with reduced capacity
Check the air filter for dust; clean the air filter if necessary.
Check if the air duct is blocked; remove any obstructions.
Check if doors or windows are open; keep doors and windows closed.
Check if the desired operating mode is selected and the temperature is set correctly – adjust mode and temperature according to the user manual (see p.16).
The exhaust hose is disconnected; make sure the exhaust hose is securely attached.
Water leakage
Water may spill when moving the unit; empty the water tank before transport.
Check if the drainage hose is bent or kinked; straighten the hose to avoid water buildup.
Excessive noise
Check that the unit is placed correctly; place the unit on a horizontal and stable floor.
Check for any loose, vibrating parts; fasten and tighten them.
Noise that sounds like water flow, this sound comes from the circulating refrigerant. This is normal.
Can Wilfa air conditioners be used without a window hose?
No, all our models must have a hose leading outside, as the air conditioner needs to release the heat.
