What does error code F0 mean?
This means that the refrigerant is leaking or that the system is blocked in some way. What you can do is check if you can see any damage on the unit or if it is positioned in a way that blocks its functions (e.g., uneven surface or if the filter is blocked by dust, etc.). If the problem persists despite the above troubleshooting, please contact the place of purchase for a warranty claim.
What do the different colors that light up mean? (DH2W-20C)
Red = water tank full
Green = correct humidity
Blue = dehumidifying in progress
The dehumidifier does not work
The device is being used in an area where the temperature is higher than 35 degrees or lower than 5 degrees.
The container is full.
The device suddenly makes noise during operation
Noise level may increase when the compressor has just started.
Problems with the power supply.
The device is on an uneven surface.
The device may make more noise if placed on a wooden floor.
Humidity does not decrease
The area to be dehumidified is too large. The capacity of your dehumidifier may not be sufficient.
Doors are open.
There may be a device in the room that produces steam.
Little or no effect during dehumidification
Room temperature is too low.
Humidity level may be set incorrectly.
If the device is operating at a room temperature between 5 and 15 degrees, defrosting starts automatically. The compressor stops for a short period (the fan then runs at full speed). After defrosting, it returns to its original state.
At first use, the air smells slightly musty
Due to increased temperature in the heat exchanger, the air may smell a little strange at first.
A hissing/whistling sound may be heard
Normal. This is the sound of the refrigerant flowing inside the device.
When using a drain hose, there is water in the tank
Check the drain connection – attach it properly.
The drain hose is not installed correctly – remove any object from the drain hose. Disassemble the hose and reattach it. Make sure the hose is installed correctly.
Full-tank indicator lights up
The tank is not correctly positioned – empty the tank and put it back.
The tank is full of water.
The tank is removed.
The device works normally but cannot start
The humidity setting is too high – if you want air drying, press the ON button to lower the level or the CO button for continuous dehumidification.
Poor dehumidification
Check if there are objects around the device – make sure no curtains or furniture are blocking the dehumidifier.
The air filter is dusty and blocked – clean the filter.
Doors and windows are open – make sure everything is closed to prevent drafts.
Room temperature is too low – higher temperature is better for dehumidification. Low temperature reduces the device’s effectiveness. This device should be used in spaces above 5 degrees.
No water collected in the tank
At 35–40% humidity, the dehumidifier does not collect water because this is the target humidity level. To check if the dehumidifier is working, place it in the bathroom and turn it on while you shower. If no water is collected, the device is probably defective.
What is a dehumidifier?
A dehumidifier removes moisture from the air. Useful for boats, caravans, motorhomes, basements, garages, storage rooms, laundry rooms, etc.
How does a dehumidifier work?
Air is blown onto a cooling coil, which collects water vapor as condensation.
