Tip: You can use condensation water from your tumble dryer to refill the water tank in your steamer, since it is free from lime and minerals, just like distilled water.

Can I use regular tap water? Do I need to use filtered water?
Yes, you can use regular tap water in your steamer. However, using distilled water reduces the risk of limescale buildup and thus extends the lifespan of your steamer.
If you have hard water/high lime or iron content in your water (for example, if you use a private well), we recommend using distilled water. It is also fine to use condensation water from the tumble dryer.
How do I clean my steamer? Is it possible to descale it?
Make sure the steamer is switched off, unplugged, and completely cooled before cleaning.
Wipe the heating plate and the exterior with a soft damp cloth. Never use strong cleaning agents or scouring pads as they can scratch or discolor the steamer. Once the steamer is dry, turn it on briefly and steam lightly over a cloth to clear any residue from the steam holes.
If you use distilled water, descaling is usually not necessary. It can be done when needed, but it is important to only use suitable cleaning agents or vinegar.
Mix 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water and pour the mixture into the water tank.
Reattach the tank and start the steamer.
When the steamer is fully heated and ready, switch on the steam and let it run until the tank is empty. Then rinse the machine by steaming through a full tank of plain water.
Can I use the product on all types of materials?
Not all fabrics should be steamed.
Always check the care label on your garment before use.
If the label says “Do not iron” or has the following symbol, you should not press the heating plate directly against the fabric. Use the fabric brush and test on a less visible area first.
If the label says “Do not steam” or has the following symbol, you should avoid steaming the garment.
