How quickly does the ice maker produce ice?

The ice maker produces ice quickly and is designed to give access to ice cubes without the need for a freezer. Both models offer two different ice cube sizes, so the customer can choose the size that best suits how it will be used.

ICE-12S can produce up to about 70 ice cubes per hour.
ICM1-600 can produce up to 12 kg of ice per day.

Can you choose the size of the ice cubes?

Yes, you can choose between two different ice cube sizes.

Both models have a function that lets you choose between small and large ice cubes depending on your needs. If you need a lot of ice cubes quickly, the smaller ice cubes can be a good option, as they are generally produced faster.

Does the ice maker need to stand still before it is used for the first time?

Yes, we recommend leaving the ice maker to stand still before it is started for the first time.

The cooling system needs time to stabilise after transport.

Place the ice maker on a level, stable surface.
Leave the product upright and unused for at least 1 hour.
On the ICM1-600, we recommend leaving the lid open for a period before the first start, as described in the instruction manual.
Then fill with water and start the machine.

The machine is not cooling properly and the ice cubes come out thin. What could be the cause?

If the machine cools poorly and produces thin ice cubes, it is usually down to where it is placed or to ventilation.

Guide the customer through the following checks:

Check that the machine is standing on an even, stable surface.
Make sure the machine is not standing in direct sunlight.
Do not place the machine near heat sources such as a hob, an oven or a radiator.
Check that there is at least 10 cm of free space around the machine so that the ventilation openings are not blocked.
Check that the machine was left to stand for the recommended time before it was used for the first time.

The machine shows "Add Water" even though there is water in it. What should I do?

If the machine shows "Add Water" even though there is water in the tank, the machine usually needs cleaning.

We recommend following the steps below:

Switch off the machine.
Empty the water tank.
Clean the machine thoroughly.
Remove any limescale.
Check and clean the air filter on the outside of the machine.
Start the machine again with fresh water.

Dust or dirt in the filter can affect the fan, which in turn can impair the cooling and the ice production.

How is the ice maker cleaned?

Regular cleaning helps the ice maker to work at its best and contributes to better hygiene.

We recommend that you:

Unplug the product before cleaning.
Empty out any remaining water.
Clean the water tank, the ice box and the ice scoop.
Wipe the inside surfaces with a soft cloth.
Descale the machine when needed if the product is used with hard water.

Use fresh water after cleaning for the best result.

Is there a freezing function that keeps the ice cubes frozen?

No, the ice maker does not have a freezing function that keeps the ice cubes permanently frozen.

When the ice container is full, the machine stops production automatically. If the ice cubes are left in the machine, they will eventually melt back into water. When there is room again, the machine can use the melted water to make new ice cubes.

If you want to save the ice for later, we recommend moving the ice cubes to an ordinary freezer as soon as the amount you want has been produced.

Can the ice maker run around the clock?

The ice maker can run for longer periods, but we recommend only running it when you need it.

For the best hygiene and service life, we recommend that you:

Produce the amount of ice you want.
Move the ice to the freezer.
Empty any remaining water out of the machine after use.
Start the next use with fresh water.
