The milk container isn't working, the milk doesn't pass through the system
If milk isn't passing through the system on your Volo Multi, this is usually because a part of the milk system needs cleaning or a connection isn't correctly in place.
The silicone hose is the soft tube that carries the milk from the milk container to the machine. If the hose is dirty or misplaced, the milk flow can be stopped.
Follow these steps:
Check that the silicone hose is clean and free from milk residue.
Check that the silicone hose is correctly positioned in the milk container.
Check that the adapter and connections are securely attached to the machine.
Test the milk system again.
If all parts are correctly mounted and cleaned but the milk still doesn't pass through the system, we recommend replacing the milk container.
Water is leaking from the water tank
If water is leaking from the water tank on your Volo Multi, the water tank needs to be replaced. The water tank is the removable container that supplies the machine with water. If the tank has been damaged or cracked, water can leak out.
If you notice a leak from the water tank itself or from the underside of the product, we recommend contacting your retailer for help with a replacement part or warranty claim handling. The Volo Multi is equipped with a removable 1.6-liter water tank.
What is the difference between the espresso ground coffee adapter and the filter coffee adapter?
The difference between the adapters is that they are designed for different coffee types and coffee amounts.
Espresso ground coffee adapter
The espresso ground coffee adapter is the adapter included with the machine.
It is used when you want to brew espresso with finely ground espresso coffee.
Key features:
Included in the package.
Used for espresso.
Holds approximately 9 grams of ground coffee.
Filter coffee adapter
The filter coffee adapter is a separate accessory sold separately and not included with the machine. It is designed to brew a larger amount of coffee, more similar to americano or traditional filter coffee.
Key features:
Sold as an accessory.
Holds approximately 15–18 grams of ground coffee.
Suitable for larger coffee drinks such as americano.
Specifically designed for the Volo Multi MMA1T-TCM20.
There is water in the drip tray
If there is water in the drip tray on your Volo Multi, this is normal and part of the machine's design.
The Volo Multi uses high brewing pressure to produce espresso. To protect the machine's internal components, some of the pressure needs to be released after brewing. This excess water is directed to the drip tray.
It is therefore normal that:
Water collects in the drip tray.
Small amounts of water come from the machine's drainage system.
The drip tray needs to be emptied regularly.
The drip tray is designed to collect this water and helps the machine function correctly over time.
For best results, we recommend that you:
Empty the drip tray regularly.
Clean the drip tray at regular intervals.
Check that the drip tray is correctly in place after cleaning.
I'm not satisfied with the milk foam
If you're not satisfied with the milk foam from your Volo Multi, there are several factors that affect the result.
The milk's temperature, freshness and composition have a significant impact on how much foam forms and how stable it becomes.
For the best possible result, we recommend:
Using cold milk straight from the refrigerator.
Using fresh milk.
Cleaning the milk system regularly.
Making sure the silicone hose is clean and correctly positioned.
Regular standard milk often gives the best result because it has a balanced combination of fat, protein and natural milk sugar, which contributes to a creamy and stable foam.
Even though the Volo Multi uses a high-pressure pump system and high brewing temperature, the result may differ from what is produced at a café with professional equipment.
How can I get better control over the milk foam?
If you want greater control over the temperature and amount of foam, we recommend using the machine's steam wand.
The steam wand is the part of the machine that uses hot steam to manually heat and froth the milk.
By using the steam wand, you can influence:
How hot the milk gets.
How much foam is created.
The consistency of the milk foam.
The Volo Multi is equipped with a steam wand and a removable 350 ml milk container for making milk-based coffee drinks such as cappuccino and latte macchiato.
What capsules can I use in the Volo Multi?
The Volo Multi is designed to offer great flexibility and can be used with several different coffee systems.
The machine comes with adapters for:
Nespresso®-compatible capsules
Nescafé Dolce Gusto®-compatible capsules
Espresso ground coffee
Please note that the machine is not compatible with Nespresso® Vertuo capsules.
