What does error code E0 mean?
Error code E0 means that communication between the humidifier's water sensor and the power board has been interrupted.
The water sensor's circuit board (PCB) is the electronic component that monitors the water level in the humidifier. If communication between the water sensor and the power board is broken, the humidifier cannot work correctly.
Possible causes:
The cable between the circuit boards is not seated correctly.
The water sensor's circuit board is damaged or faulty.
If you see error code E0, you can:
Switch off the humidifier.
Check that all connections are seated correctly.
Start the humidifier again.
If the problem persists, the water sensor's circuit board normally needs to be replaced. Please contact your place of purchase to make a complaint.
What does error code E1 mean?
Error code E1 means that the humidifier cannot read the water level correctly.
When the humidifier cannot identify the water level, it cannot determine how much water is available for steam production.
Possible causes:
The water level has not been calibrated correctly.
The water sensor's circuit board is faulty.
Limescale or dirt is affecting the sensor.
Try the following:
Remove the water tank.
Empty the water out of the base unit.
Clean the tank and the base if needed.
Fill the tank with fresh water.
Refit the tank correctly.
If the error code is still shown, the water sensor's circuit board may need to be replaced. Please contact your place of purchase to make a complaint.
What does error code E2 mean?
Error code E2 means that the humidifier is unable to set or reset the water level.
When this error code is shown, the water level needs to be reset manually.
Important: The reset process must be started within 1 minute of the humidifier being connected to the power supply.
How to reset error code E2
Remove the water tank.
Empty the water tank and wipe out the base unit.
Connect the humidifier to the power supply.
Press the Power button twice.
Then press and hold the Power button in for about 2 seconds until the display shows **"PL"**.
Press the Power button again.
Pull out the plug.
Wait at least 1 minute.
Put the filled water tank back.
Connect the humidifier again and use it as usual.
After the reset, the water level should be able to be calibrated correctly again.
What does error code EF mean?
Error code EF means that there is too much water in the base unit.
The base unit is the lowest part of the humidifier, where steam production takes place. If the water level becomes too high, the humidifier may show error code EF as a safety function.
Possible causes:
Water has been filled directly into the base instead of into the water tank.
There is dirt or limescale in the water tank's valve or outlet.
The sealing ring is not seated correctly.
Follow these steps:
Remove the water tank.
Empty the water out of the base unit.
Check the water tank's valve and water outlet.
Clean away dirt, limescale or particles.
Refit the water tank correctly.
To avoid error code EF, water should always be filled into the water tank as described in the instruction manual.
The Power button is flashing red
If the Power button is flashing red, it means that the humidifier is not detecting the water tank.
The most common cause is that the water tank is not correctly in place.
Check the following:
Remove the water tank.
Check that it is fitted correctly.
Put the tank back firmly.
Start the humidifier again.
When the water tank is correctly positioned, the red flashing should stop.
The humidifier produces white dust
White dust around the humidifier is usually because the water contains a lot of minerals.
Minerals such as calcium and magnesium can be carried out into the air with the steam and show up as a white dust on furniture and other surfaces. This is normal and does not mean that the humidifier is faulty.
To reduce the problem, we recommend:
Using filtered water.
Using distilled or demineralised water if possible.
Cleaning the filter regularly.
Removing limescale deposits when needed.
The humidifier does not produce any warm steam
If warm steam is not produced straight away, the humidifier may still be in the heating-up phase.
When the heating function is activated, the humidifier needs a few minutes to heat the water before the warm steam becomes noticeable.
If you do not feel that the steam is warm, you can:
Wait a few minutes.
Increase the steam level.
Make sure that the room temperature is not very low.
Very finely dispersed steam can sometimes make the heat feel less noticeable, even when the heating function is working correctly.
