Warranty, Claims, Returns and Spare Parts for Wilfa Products

This article is for anyone who owns a Wilfa product and needs help with warranty claims, complaints, spare parts, or returns.

How do I make a warranty claim or submit a complaint?

If you need to make a complaint or use the warranty for your Wilfa product, you should always contact the store or retailer where you purchased the product. A complaint is a notification that the product has a defect covered by the warranty or consumer protection legislation.

Follow these steps:

  1. Contact the store or retailer where you purchased the product.

  2. Have your receipt or proof of purchase available.

  3. Describe the issue as clearly as possible.

  4. Follow the retailer’s instructions for further handling.

The retailer is responsible for assisting you with the complaint and may contact Wilfa if needed.

What should I do if the store where I bought the product has closed?

If the retailer where you purchased the product is no longer in business and your warranty is still valid, you can contact Wilfa for assistance. Please remember to include your proof of purchase and information about where the product was purchased.

The retailer says they cannot help because the product is several years old. What applies?

If your Wilfa product was purchased after September 1, 2020, it is normally covered by Wilfa’s 5-year warranty, provided that you can present valid proof of purchase. The warranty period starts from the purchase date, not the manufacturing date.

If a retailer is unsure how the warranty works, we recommend that you:

  1. Show your receipt.

  2. Inform them that Wilfa offers a 5-year warranty on Wilfa-branded products purchased after September 1, 2020.

  3. Ask the retailer to contact Wilfa if they need guidance.

The complaint should still be handled by the place of purchase.

How long is the warranty on my Wilfa product?

Wilfa offers a 5-year warranty on Wilfa-branded products purchased on or after September 1, 2020. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and original faults that occur during the warranty period.

To validate your warranty, you must be able to provide:

  • A receipt or other proof of purchase.

  • Information confirming the purchase date.

Do I need to register my product to receive the 5-year warranty?

No, you do not need to register your Wilfa product for the warranty to be valid.

Your receipt serves as your warranty certificate. Therefore, it is important to keep your receipt throughout the warranty period in case you need to make a claim in the future.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and original faults that occur during the warranty period. A manufacturing defect is a fault that existed in the product from the beginning or is caused by material or production defects.

The warranty only applies to:

  • Wilfa-branded products.

  • Products used in private households.

  • Products for which valid proof of purchase can be provided.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage or faults caused by use or circumstances unrelated to a manufacturing defect.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Commercial use.

  • Improper use of the product.

  • Lack of maintenance.

  • Failure to follow the instructions in the user manual.

  • Modifications or unauthorized repairs.

  • Normal wear and tear over time.

  • Incorrect electrical voltage.

  • Product overload.

  • Damage to glass, plastic, and similar materials.

  • Peeling or deterioration of coatings.

  • Filters, batteries, and other consumable or wear parts.

  • Descaling or cleaning not performed according to the user manual.

Can I purchase spare parts instead of replacing the entire product?

Yes, many Wilfa products have spare parts that can be ordered separately. We strive to help our customers repair products whenever possible instead of replacing the entire unit.

Examples of spare parts include:

  • Coffee carafes.

  • Blender blades.

  • Baskets and containers for air fryers.

  • Vacuum cleaner accessories.

Do I need to keep my receipt?

Yes, you should always keep your receipt. Your receipt serves as proof of warranty and is required for warranty or complaint cases to be processed. Without proof of purchase, neither we nor the retailer can verify when the product was purchased.
