What is the difference between WSPL-3B and CM7T-125?
They are the same coffee maker; the only difference is the color.
The coffee maker won’t start.
Check the power switch on the back to make sure it is turned on (I).
What setting should I choose on the filter holder?
The settings on the filter holder correspond to the amount of water you have filled for brewing.
For example, if you fill 0.5 L of water, set the filter holder to 0.5.
This adjusts the water flow through the filter holder according to the amount of coffee you want to brew, ensuring it tastes equally good regardless of quantity.
It’s not pumping water, the button lights up and the plate gets hot. What should I do?
This is most likely due to limescale in the system blocking the flow. Try performing a descaling cycle.
If it doesn’t work, contact us and we can provide instructions to help force water through the pump.
Can I use the thermal carafe from the Performance Thermo with WSPL/CM7?
You can use it as a separate thermos, meaning you can pour coffee into it after brewing.
However, you cannot use the thermal carafe during brewing, as it has different dimensions and the WSPL/CM7 without a thermos has a heating plate that the thermal carafe should not be placed on.
My coffee maker sounds louder than I’m used to. Is that normal?
Yes, this coffee maker has a pump that makes slightly more noise at the start and end.
Thanks to Wilfa’s unique water pump technology, the brewer completely empties itself of water after each brew, ensuring you always brew with fresh, oxygen-rich, clean water.
The pump also heats the water quickly to the correct brewing temperature, which may be the unfamiliar sound you hear. This is completely normal.
How often should I descale my coffee maker?
This depends on the hardness of your water.
We recommend descaling and cleaning at least every three months. If you have hard water, do it more often.
We recommend using our cleaning and descaling products, which can be ordered from our website.
My carafe is broken. Where can I find a new one?
You can find all our spare parts for your model here: Performance
How can I keep coffee warm on the plate longer? It turns off after a while – is it okay to turn it back on? Won’t the water pump run without water and get damaged?
All our coffee makers are EU directive approved, which means they have automatic shut-off after 40 minutes.
We recommend using a separate thermos or brewing smaller amounts from the start to avoid having to restart the machine when it’s not meant to brew. Repeatedly starting it in this state can cause wear on the pump and reduce the lifespan of the coffee maker.
