FAQ: WSP-1A & WSP-1B - Svart Precision

What is the difference between Performance and Precision?

The WSP-2A is our older model. It is slightly larger than the other one and some materials and parts look different.
In practice, they work the same way, and the coffee result is identical.
So the main difference is primarily the design.

What setting should I choose on the filter holder?

The settings on the filter holder correspond to the amount of water you have filled for brewing.
For example, if you fill 0.5 L of water, you should set the filter holder to 0.5.
This adjusts the water flow through the filter holder according to the amount of coffee you want to brew, ensuring the coffee tastes just as good regardless of the quantity.

The machine is not pumping water. What should I do?

This is most likely due to limescale in the system blocking the flow. Try performing a descaling cycle.
If it doesn’t work, contact us so we can provide instructions to help force water through the pump.

How often should I descale my coffee maker?

This depends on the hardness of your water.
We recommend performing descaling and cleaning at least every three months.
If you have very hard water, it should be done more frequently.

The Wilfa button on the coffee maker is blinking rapidly and continuously. What does this mean?
Unfortunately, we do not offer servicing for this issue. Please contact your place of purchase to file a warranty claim.

My carafe is broken. Where can I find a new one?
We have a new carafe that we recommend. You can find all our spare parts for your model here:
